The Shopping Spree slots game is almost identical to the Mid-Life Crisis slots game. They're both 5 reel, 9 payline progressive slot games. Even the look and feel is similar. The major diffence is the theme: while Mid-Life Crisis pokes a little good-natured fun at middle-aged men, Shopping Spree gives the ladies a turn. The game features symbols like purses, makeup, lipstick, and flowers.

Shopping Spree is also a quarter game, and the max bet is 45 coins, so you're playing for $11.25 a spin here. The progressive jackpot starts at $25,000 and grows as players continue to play. Instead of having a sports car jackpot like Mid-Life Crisis, Shopping Spree has a shopping trip available if you hit 5 diamond rings in a row. You have the option of either taking the $100,000 shopping trip or the cash, your choice.

Shopping Spree also has 2 bonus games available. The first is a scatter bonus that pays when you hit 3 "money" symbols. The 2nd is a "Mystery Grab Bag" bonus round, where you can win up to 4000 credits depending on which grab bag you select.

Shopping Spree wasn't really my cup of tea, and the gameplay was almost identical to Mid-Life Crisis. You wouldn't think that the theme and the symbols would make such a difference to your enjoyment of a slot machine game, but in this case, it certainly did. I much preferred the male-oriented game.
