Playboy Slot Machines - Playboy Slots Games

Slot MachinesPlayboy slot machines are a welcome sight in any casino. It's only natural that Hugh Hefner's world famous rabbit head logo should grace casino floors. Playboy has a long affiliation with the gambling industry. So it was no surprise when I learned that Playboy had teamed with Bally Games to create its own line of slot machine lines.

Playboy Casino

In the sixties and seventies, Hugh Hefner owned Playboy-themed casinos. His experience was somewhat rocky. Hef got out of the business when both American and English authorities over-regulated his establishments. New Jersey authorities even stipulated the Playboy casinos would only get licensed if Hef was not involved.

English authorities pulled a license to a Playboy casino in London, too. In the early eighties, the U.K. based Playboy casino was found giving illegal credit to Arab sheiks who would come to town writing rubber checks. For most of the eighties and nineties, the Playboy symbol was not found in casinos.

But then the Wheel of Fortune slot machine came along. Combining name recognition with a hefty progressive jackpot, Wheel of Fortune became the most successful slot machine in history. Soon, there was a scramble to license the next big celebrity slots. In 1998, Bally inked a deal with Playboy to produce a slot machine. Several variations are now on the market.

The first was the Playboy Bonus Frenzy. This slot machine comes with a number of bonus features. It offers 10 and 100 bonus credits options, as well as a 1 to 5 respins on any winning combination. Playboy Bonus Frenzy also came with 2, 5 and 10 times multipliers. Playboy playmates appear on the multiplier symbols.

The next Playboy slot machine was named Playboy Playmate Frenzy. It is similar to the original, though it offers higher jackpots. The high end bonus is 10,000 credits, which makes Playmate Frenzy quite profitable for the big winners. This game is based off the old red, yellow and blue 7 symbols. The bonuses include the rabbit head logo, as well as playmate designs by Femlin. Seductive jazz music plays as you go along.

This led to a third offering, Playboy Playmate Times Frenzy. This game is a further evolution of the concept. The high bonus is once again 10,000 credits, which is won when three rabbit heads appear on the correct payline. Playmate Times Frenzy comes with more bonus multipliers, which once again feature playmates by Femlin.

All three of these games have a bonus four reel feature. The Playboy slots play like standard 3 reel, 3 credit slot machines. But the fourth reel multiplies those pots already won. This can increase the size of your winnings significantly.

Sorry, No Nudity

One thing to keep in mind, though. Playboy slot machines do not contain nudity. So if you are looking for a little skin action when you win a jackpot, you're going to have to save up your winnings and go buy the latest Playboy Magazine.
