Hide Away Not So HiddenIt seems that the Hide Away in Lake County, Florida was not so under the radar as they liked to think they were. The site had illegal slot machines that they were paying out cash on, and they were busted for it. The business is located on Corey Island Road in Leesburg, and the Special Investigation Unit raided the place after watching them for the past three months. This place was using slot machines that were on computers as opposed to the stand alone machines. Most of the raids that have been going on around the country are with those that are paying out on stand alone slot machines. This place was basically allowing online slot machine usage through the computers to their customers. All 101 computers were seized by police, as well as a cash deposit machine that was putting money on electronic gaming cards. They also took the cash that was at the scene. People would play the computer slot machines and then the owners would pay them out with the cash if they won. As it is illegal to pay out on any slot machine that is not regulated by the state, the owners knew they were breaking the law. Kerri Flowers, at the location, was warned that the computer slot machines were illegal first. They gave her ten days to remove the machines, and when none were they arrested her.
