Slot Machines Right on Time

According to Mark Hemmerle, general manager of the Indiana Live! Casino, they are right on target for their completion date. They are still roughly eight weeks away from opening, but Hemmerle says that he has no question that they will be done building it by the due date.

They are in the middle of making a temporary facility, and to the untrained eye it might seem as if those slot machines are never going to be ready. However, the professionals assure you that they are. They will be ready to open come end of May or beginning of June.

They will be holding their “soft” invitation only opening in May, but they have not yet announced the date. They have to have a preview type opening for two days so that the Indiana Gaming Commission can check it out and make sure that all of the slot machines are functioning properly and the staff is prepared for what might come their way.

Hemmerle says that now that the infrastructure is in place, construction is moving quickly. Some residents say that it cannot move quickly enough. They are ready to start playing the slot machines now.
