College Students Go to Strip

It used to be that if you were a college student the only place you wanted to be at spring break was Daytona Beach, Florida. However, the people of Daytona got sick of all of the traffic and noise and made it increasingly difficult to have a good time there so they turned their thoughts to Mexico instead. So that was the hot spot for a while, but then drug related violence had universities across the nation warning their students not to go there. So students were left wondering where the next hot spot would be – and it looks like it is the Las Vegas Strip.

The casino capital has been inundated with spring breakers wanting to have a good time for very little money. That is why these places like Daytona and Mexico have had such a draw with students as they could normally get a pretty good deal on the hotels and food in those locations, and changing their plans and heading to Las Vegas was the next best thing.

Many students found the pricing of the vacation playground to be much better than what they have been looking to spend on previous trips. Some say that they actually saved upwards of $500 to come play slot machines and lay out by the pools instead of hitting the beaches. They say that playing the slot machines is a lot of fun and they have the chance to go home with more money than what they even came with.
