Slot Revenues Agreed Upon

Gulfstream Park has finally reached an agreement with the Florida Horsemen Benevolent and Protective Association. There was some talk about how much the FHBPA was going to receive from the Park, as they wanted a portion of the slot machine income. Gulfstream Park has agreed, and will be paying the group a large amount.

The agreement states that the FHBPA will receive 7.5 percent of the slot machine revenues. This is of the first 500 slot machines that are installed, and the money will only come after they are operational. They are planning on having all 500 slot machines in and working by the end of October at the very latest.

The deal goes on to specify how much profit the FHBPA will receive after that, and how much they will receive when more slot machines are added. Both parties seem happy with the agreement.
