Slingo Announces Lyons for VPSlingo recently announced that they have appointed David Lyons to their Vice President of the Casino Division department. Lyons is a long term veteran of the casino industry having more than 27 years of experience at it. Lyons has a large portion of his experience in slot machine operations and will be using that expertise to develop and expand Slingo’s casino game development. Lyons will also be working to increase and improve both their relations and casino show floor presence. Lyons comes to Slingo from Harrah’s Entertainment, where he was the VP of Slot Machine Operations for their Eastern Division. His role was to take care of their daily operations, and was responsible for 12 different casinos with over 30,000 slot machines. He was also responsible for the start to finish of the opening of the Harrah’s Chester Casino and Race Track. He was also responsible for hiring and training executives through their President’s Associates and Management Training programs. He oversaw all of the parts of the opening of the slot machine casino, and was an integral part of ensuring its timely completion. While working for Slingo, Lyons will be developing several new titles for the company, including by not limited to a new Stepper Slot Machine called Triple Slingo Jackpot. They are working on getting the new slot machine out this summer, and then following it up with several other titles over the remainder of the year.
