State Owned Casinos?
So it is
no secret that the state of There
are many not happy with this idea as they feel that slot
machines are there to be run by the casinos and that the state
is not in the position to run them. They think that it is much
like church and state – the state gets money but doesn’t go
sticking their nose into anything about it. There are many
residents that think that if the casinos are not getting enough
slot machine revenue then they should not be in business and
that the state should let them go under. They say that even the
idea of bringing in online gambling to the state to support the
slot machine industry is the same as allowing porn into your
homes.
The only problem that the other side sees with these people is that they might not want the slot machines, but they have no problem paying fewer taxes because of them. They say that if they really have a problem with the slot machines that they should go ahead and start paying higher taxes because that is all that will happen if the slot machines go away.
