Authorities Seize Slot MachinesSome cash that was put in a slot machine was originally thought to be the cause of Dawn Moore’s murder, but authorities have since ruled that they think her husband is to blame instead. Before he was arrested, Kevin Moore said that he thought she was murdered for $10,000 cash that he had hidden in a slot machine that was located in their home. The body of Dawn Moore, 43, was found outside the couples’ home on November 13th at roughly 7:30 am; there was a cinder block next to the body, and it was ruled that she had died of blunt force trauma to the head. The day after authorities charged her husband Kevin, 44, with her murder, police went into their home and seized a slot machine from the home. They also searched for evidence of gambling ledgers and accounts, hidden cameras and financial documents. They charged him with first degree intentional homicide of his wife. Kevin still maintains that he felt whoever killed his wife was looking for the money in the slot machine. The slot machine was taken for “forensic analysis” according to the search warrant. The police searched the house, but all that is known to be removed was a slot machine. The search warrant listed cameras in the ceiling and walls of the game room, but none were found. The police took the slot machine, but also searched for anything that might lead to a motive.
