Tulane is Talking Slot Machines Tulane University Mississippi Coast Campus is talking to its students about slot machines. That’s right, slot machines, and you can get credit for it as well. They are offering seven slot machine casino resort management courses this semester as part of their degreed programs in casino resort management. The courses will cover a variety of topics, including the history of gambling and modern slot machine technology. The classes are part of the extended slot machine program that students can take to obtain an associates degree, a bachelor’s degree, or a post-graduate degree. The regional data base manager for the Beau Rivage slot machine casino, as well as the Gold Strike Casino, will teach a course related to gaming device management, slot machine operations, slot math, player tracking systems, etc. The history of gambling class can also be used toward other programs, so even if you are not interested in the slot machine casino management degrees, you can apply it to other degrees. There will also be classes on marketing, leadership and group dynamics, casino and resort management, as well as a class on slot machine management. January 22nd is the last day to apply, so if you are interested in how slot machine casinos work, or running one yourself someday, you’d better get over to Tulane.
