Hollywood Casino is Hiring

The Hollywood Casino is pleased to announce that they are going to be hiring this summer. They say that because of the amount of slot machines, etc. that they are going to be able offer their clients that obviously they are going to need people to run them. They say that there will literally be hundreds of jobs available.

The casino says that they are anticipating somewhere between 300 and 400 new jobs this summer for people for various areas of the casino including the slot machines. They say that they have had a lot of calls about poker and blackjack, but that they are not ready for the new games yet. Although they do say that it is because of the new games that are being allowed that they are going to be able to offer the new jobs to their clients.

With the governor signing legislation that will add table games to the slot machines, this is changing the face of gambling in Pennsylvania. The larger casinos will be adding up to 250 tables to their slot machines, while the smaller casinos will have up to 50. They say that there will be additional training involved for the attendants of the slot machines and table games, but that this should only take about six weeks.

The longest period of time will be taking care of getting the casinos ready for the games and expanding their gaming options. The casino currently has about 900 employees but is looking to increase to 1200 or more. Pay will range from $10 to $25 an hour.
