Can Smokers Co-Exist at Slot Machines?

The problem is that there are those that smoke that feel that they should be able to wherever they go, and there are those that don’t smoke that feel that people should not be able to smoke anywhere. Unfortunately this causes a problem in many locations, especially at the slot machines in casinos. Players of the slot machines have two very distinct sides on the issue – one group does not want to smell cigarette smoke when they are playing the slot machines and the other group wants to be able to sit and play in peace and not have to get up from the slot machines to smoke.

The casinos don’t want it either as they know that this ends up taking away from the amount of money that they are making at the casinos. They know that when a smoker has to go outside the casino to catch a smoke that they are more than likely to either leave and not go back in, or to realize how late it is and wrap it up much more quickly than they would have if they had been inside the whole time.

However, with even the people who work at the casinos not wanting to smell it, smokers are being forced outside or to areas of the casino where smoking is still permitted. For those that used to smoke and have quit they see both sides of the problem. As a smoker they would have wanted to be able to partake right there at the slot machine, but as a non smoker they don’t want the toxins going in their bodies especially since they have chosen not to smoke themselves.
