Bwin and Jadestone Extend Partnership

Bwin Interactive, the Vienna listed Internet betting group, and Jadestone, the Swedish online skill games group, have announced that they will be extending their partnership for another four years. The agreement was due to expire this year, but will now be up for renewal in 2011.

Jadestone said that they thought the deal was a good one for the company, as Bwin has opted to use their “new product verticals” and thus they have solidified their position in the next generation multiplayer gaming environment.

Bwin was just as excited about the deal, stating that they are pleased with Jadestone as a professional partner, and that the company has the “most innovative multiplayer product roadmap” available today.

With Jadestone expanding to include the outstanding shares in GamArena Ab, a multiplayer skill games operator, it simply further adds to their share of the partnership by allowing them to bring in even more to the table.

The companies partnered last year to see how it would work out for them, and their goal was to launch a fully integrated skill game platform in 20 languages. They are really going after the contacts that Bwin has already established in the European market.
