The government is kind enough to give everyone money back with this new rebate plan of theirs, but the question is how smart are you going to be with it? Some people will save it knowing that there is ultimately going to be a day when they are going to need it – but many will end up spending it.

Many of those that receive checks will spend them at some sort of slot machine or gambling facility. Some will spend it on the lottery – and some will spend it online gambling.

The various states are hoping that you spend it quick. They are hoping that you spend it on their slot machines or lotteries, etc. as in today’s financial climate they need the money. In California they are seriously behind in the amount of money that is being spent on their lotteries, and are now borrowing from the money they are getting so less money is going to the schools.

The whole idea for the lotteries, etc. is that they are supposed to fund the state’s schools. By taking money out of the funding for those schools they are defeating the whole purpose of having them.
