Man Wins Slot Machine He Didn’t Know He Was PlayingWhat if you were sitting playing what you thought was a small stakes slot machine and suddenly you found out you were a millionaire? Well, that is exactly what happened to John Bromiley, a Pennsylvania man who is now a multi-millionaire. Bromiley, 71, was playing the slot machines at Reno’s Grand Sierra Resort, putting in his money, when he found out he had won. Bromiley thought he was playing a seventy-five cent slot machine, and it turned out he wasn’t. He was actually playing a $3.75 per spin slot machine, which he could not afford. He says that people were treating him very nicely and bringing him champagne, but he thought that was just the way they treated people. He didn’t realize it was because he was gambling away such high amounts. He says had he known he would not have kept playing the slot machine that he was. Good
thing he didn’t know, for his mistake led to a $7.9 million
payout for Bromiley. He said he honestly did not know how he was
playing the game, and it was a good thing that he didn’t. Back to March Index - Slot Machines Fan |
