Employees Needed at Mount Airy

Mount Airy Resort & Casino has opened an employment center in Scranton so that people will have an opportunity to apply for jobs within the slot machine casino. They are going to need about a thousand people to work at the slot machine casino, and with it opening next fall, they need to get hiring.

They say that they are trying to make the employment process as easy as they can, and as convenient as they can for all involved. They say that if you are unable to come to the Scranton Office, they also have one located in Monroe County and one in Lackawanna County. If they are not able to come to one of the locations, they have set it up so that you can apply online as well at one of two web sites: www.mtairyresort.com or www.mountairyresortandcasino.com.

The slot machine casino says they have already received more than 800 applications for the positions, and they want to tell people that there are many jobs to be filled, and not all of them will involve working with the slot machines or on the casino floor. There are hospitality positions, food and beverage positions – many areas need to be filled.

They say that they would like to hire local residents before they start looking outside of the immediate area. The slot machine casino will be finished with the first phase of their construction this fall, and then there will be other things added afterward.
