Slot Machine Winners Mad at OLGThe Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is under fire for supposedly “stiffing” players of their slot machine wins. There are those that argue that although they may pretend that a specific slot machine malfunctioned, they feel that they are still owed the money that it showed on the game that they won. The latest issue comes from Pawel Kusznirewicz, a 55 year old man who was playing at the Georgian Downs’ slot machines when he thought that he had won. He was playing the slot machines in December, and he fed $60 into the two penny slot machine named the Buccaneer. The bells and whistles went off and the slot machine said that he had won millions. However, the OLG told him it was a malfunction and offered him buffet dinners instead. Going from a $42.9 million win to an offer of four buffet dinners is enough to drive anyone crazy. He has filed suit against the slot machine casino saying that he deserved the win. Don Orr is another one who was playing the slot machines when it came up saying that he won $1,000. He was so excited, he kept playing and then it showed that he won $1,800. However, officials at the casino said that the slot machine was not reset properly and that he should not have won. They said that the win is not his, even though he watched someone come reset the slot machine after the first win. Orr picketed the casino and they offered him two T-shirts and a buffet.
