New Bill Readying for Slots

The new bill that is sitting in the Senate will bring new slot machines to Montana – something that many people think might help them out of their current budget crisis. The problem is that many other states have felt the same way, brought in their own slot machines only to find that you are only going to make that kind of money until someone else comes along with a better idea. However, not allowing that to deter them, Senate Bill 361 will allow slot machines to bring in hopefully millions of dollars for the state.

The state currently allows gambling in the casinos – keno and poker. However, they have never allowed video line slot machines to come on board before. They know that they are quite common in the majority of the country; they have just never felt a need to bring them in before. With slot machines bringing in so much money, they think that they can really help themselves by bringing in the money.

But they want to be clear that these new slot machine options will only be added to the games that are already on the premises of the casinos. They are not looking to add any more games to the casinos – they are simply adding the slot machine software to what they already have in place. They think that the voters will appreciate the fact that they are not looking to get rid of things that they have already established and paid for, rather they are looking to expand on what they have already.
