The fact
of the matter is that no matter how bad the economy gets –
people will still play slot machines. They enjoy them not just
because they allow them to get away from the craziness of it all
by allowing them to escape reality, but they also love the fact
that they have an opportunity to win a lot of money by playing
them. There is a reason that most casinos have the majority of
their casino floor filled with slot machines, it is because they
know that they will get played and they will bring in the
majority of the revenue for the casino.
The Las
Vegas Sands has been doing well despite the economy as well. The
slot machine giant has found that they are in a position to
expand into other areas – like Spain. They have
seen how well they have done in places like the
United States, Macau, and
Singapore
and now they think that Europe
might be the right place for their next expansion.
Their
latest opening in Singapore in
April of last year has already done very well for them, and they
are sure that this is simply a preview of what is to come. They
believe that if they move into Europe
that they will have great results. The plan is to create a
smaller version of Las Vegas over there, and they of course would
be the first ones to enter. Experts say that the plan sounds
great and that they are going to be in a good place to move
forward with it.
