Virginia City’s Nevada Gambling Museum has some of the most exciting ad hardly seen gambling paraphernalia ever seen. The museum has been collecting old time slot machines and gambling stuff for a long time – and is culled from the personal collection of Angelo Petrini.

Petrini owns the Delta Saloon and has been long fascinated with slot machines and gambling and where it all came from. The collection has some of the rarest gambling games ever seen, like an authentic faro table that uses an abacus to keep score.

There are items such as “gambling sticks” that the Nevada Indians used. But one of the biggest draws for many people is the collection of slot machines. There is a room that has more than 100 antique slot machines that will just simply take your breath away.

In the late 30’s and 40’s – slot machines were not just a machine to play gambling on, they were pieces of art. There are classic games from manufacturers such as Bally and Jennings, and the machines themselves are a sight to behold.

There are also ways of cheating the games – and those are on display as well. It is amazing to think of the various ways that people came up with to cheat the slot machines, or even at the tables – and some are simply ingenious. No matter how you look at it, it is a great place to go if you have any interest in slot machines or gambling at all.
