House lawmakers watched the clock run out on their attempts to get slot machine legislation passed through, which means that the state and their aggressive gambling lobby will have to wait another two years to get their legislation considered.

There is always the possibility of some sort of amendment going through that would give them slot machines in the state, but the chances of that are somewhat slim. They say that they won’t stop trying to find a way, but that it was tough to muster support in the end.
