Title Problems

Joe Blundo is a newspaper reporter, but he is a very funny one. He has taken on the job of talking about good nicknames when trying for ballot issues. He brought up the “Learn and Earn” campaign – the issue that if approved would allow slot machines in Ohio.

Blundo explains it differently, he described the campaign as “’Learn and Earn,’ a constitutional amendment that would educate people about how to lose money in slot machines.”

He goes on to explain what the issue really is, but not without the additional puns. He says, “It could have just as easily been called Mislead and Succeed, but I’m guessing that the issue’s backers thought that set the wrong tone.”

The article continues on to talk about other ballot issues, and he suggests some of his own as well – but with all the talk of the Learn and Earn campaign, it was nice to see some humor injected in the middle of it all.
