J.D. Power Report

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is tops in satisfying customers according to the latest J.D. Power and Associates Reports. They ranked the slot machine casino at the top of their list in their 2008 Northern California Indian Gaming Casino Satisfaction Study that was released yesterday.

The report is the first of its kind for the company, and they measured overall customer satisfaction based on their performance. They used five areas to determine their skills – gaming, facility, cage cashier/ticket redemption, arriving/parking, and beverage service. The criteria are listed in order of importance.

The slot machine casino scored a 732 out of 1,000 possible points, and got really high scores in arriving/parking, facility and gaming. Coming in second place was Feather Falls with a score of 18, and third place went to Black Oak Casino with 712 points. Feather Falls did especially well in their beverage service.

They also found that those people who were able to go to the casinos to play their slot machines while belonging to a casino players club were much happier than those who did not have any such club to belong to. Those that were part of the club were much more likely to say that they would definitely come back to play their slot machines than those who did not belong.

They are also more likely to score the casino staff with higher points and more likely to call them friendly or knowledgeable. Again, those without a players club ranked them much lower in scale.
