Bally Dominates Pennsylvania Slots

When it was announced that Pennsylvania was planning on bringing in slot machines, Bally was quick to start making some moves to get their technology in there before anyone else’s. The move has paid off for them.

Bally Technologies Inc. has now been listed as the casino management system of choice by three of the six racetracks that have gotten slot machine licenses. The other three have not named anyone yet, so it is conceivable that Bally could pick up more.

They will be supplying the system as well as slot machines to the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, Wilkes-Barre, PA; Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack, Chester, PA; and Philadelphia Park, Bensalem, PA.

Chester’s racino will be using bally to bring in some of its 2,750 slot machines, although they may be using another slot machine manufacturer as well. Bally operates, designs, manufacturer, distributes, you name it – when it comes to gaming technology and slot machines they do it all. They are currently considered one of the top three for slot machine manufacturing – right behind International Game Technology and Aristocrat Leisure, Ltd. – the number one and number two slot machine companies.
