Proponents of the Learn and Earn slot machine initiative in Ohio are pushing to get their message out to the voters as to how positive a move this can be for Ohioans. They say that the amount of money brought in from slot machine revenue will do wonders for the financial state of their state.

They say that perhaps it is not perfect, but what amendment is? They say that the benefits of legalizing the slot machines far outweigh any negatives that could come from it. It would create nine slot machine parlors in Ohio, and leaves an opening for voters to later on approve table games if they want. This allows for Ohio to stay abreast of the changing times and those around them.

The economics of the slot machine initiative are incredible as well. They say that the approval of the slot machines in Ohio would lead to 5,300 permanent jobs in Cleveland alone – which would help the city tremendously. The slot machine revenue would bring in a new convention center as well as a medical center, both of which are needed badly.

But their main concern is education. They say that if for no other reason the slot machine proposal should be approved just so their kids can go to college. They say that as it stands now, Ohio ranks 49^th in college affordability and with the slot machine revenue going into a scholarship fund it would enable many students to go to college who would not normally be able to.
