Creek County Slot Machines

Creek County has a problem with people bringing in slot machines. There were the four convenience stores that the county raided in May, which ended in the seizure of several illegal slot machines. This is not the first run in with slot machines that Creek County as seen, they had a problem earlier this year that involved the brother of the Caddo County District Attorney. He was supposedly distributing slot machines in southwestern Oklahoma.

Bret Burns is the DA for Caddo County and his brother Chase was the one who got into trouble over the slot machines. Bret saw a raid earlier this month where they seized 10 illegal slot machines from the Chickasha Elks Lodge. He said that the county sheriff was giving protection to the lodge and has called for his resignation.

Bret also says that he didn’t know his brother was involved in illegal slot machines, and that supposedly most of his business is out of state. He also says that his brother’s slot machines pay out in phone cards, not cash. The Creek County DA says that is just semantics and that the phone cards are “worthless”. She said, “Nobody plays these games for the phone cards.”
