Dreamgate Makes Slots

Dreamgate Corp has announced that they will be manufacturing slot machines now. The company already distributes and assembles gaming machines, and now they want to move forward in the process. They want to be manufacturing their own slot machines within three to five years, with their focus on the Asian markets.

They have a Japan software firm that they own half of called Cron Corp Ltd., which will enable them to make the slot machines. The group has been working on them since August 2003, and they have already sent out their initial offerings in Japan’s commercial market. They have other slot machine testing areas in the Philippines among others, and they think they can be very successful due to what they have seen so far.

The company already makes a lot of money from leasing slot machines and giving slot machine technical support, so some wonder why they would make the move to manufacturing the slot machines as well. They say that the group is not only taking on more than they can handle, but that they are putting slot machines in the areas least likely to be good locations for them.
