They have a task force that all they do is hunt down the slot machines and seize them, and then make sure that the offender is caught and prosecuted for the crime.

According to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department:

30 Search warrants have been executed, just in the search for illegal slot machines

32 Arrests have been made in conjunction with the illegal slot machines

1,494 Slot machines have been seized and kept

$227,712 in cash has been confiscated from the illegal slot machine parlors

Considering that each of the illegal slot machines is worth upwards of $3,000, the Sheriff’s Department has made a lot of people very unhappy.
