Horseshoe Casino Opens in NebraskaThe Horseshoe Casino had its opening Wednesday night and Nebraskans were ready to play some slot machines. The casino is owned by Harrah’s, and has opened in the spot that the popular Bluffs Run used to be. The new facility cost $85 million, and is the state’s largest casino at 68,000 square feet. It should bring in roughly $50 million to the state in revenue by 2010. The new casino has everything a gambling enthusiast might want: blackjack, poker, slot machines, roulette, craps, you name it. It also has three restaurants for those that might want to take a break from the slot machines, etc. to grab some sustenance.
