No Slot Machines for Glitter Gulch

The Topless Girls of Glitter Gulch will not be getting slot machines despite a recent request for them. The establishment has a record of prostitution and drug abuse and authorities have denied their request.

Undercover officers say that they went into the business twice to see if slot machines would be a good fit for the place. However, on the first visit they were solicited for prostitution and on the second they were asked if they would like to purchase illegal drugs.

The club has been trying to convince Nevada gaming regulators that they would be a good fit for slot machines. They had a meeting Friday morning to determine if they would be considered for the slot machines, but once the board heard about the officers’ visits, they were turned down.

The board said that they had already had some concerns about giving them slot machines, and that this clinched it for them. They said that in order to get slot machines you truly have to show a clean record, and theirs is far from it.

The board chose to defer decision so that the club can reapply after fixing the problems that they are currently having. They say that they are not aware of these issues, but will be looking into them.
