A trip to sunny Las Vegas can mean great food, great fun, and great
gambling. Las Vegas is home to some of the world's best casinos. No
matter what your favorite gambling game is, Vegas offers it. Many
people, though, favor slot machines over all other games, and there are
several great Vegas slot machine deals that will get your vacation off
to the right start – even more so if you look to some of the lesser
known and smaller casinos within a few blocks of the Strip.
Harrah's Las Vegas
Harrah's Las Vegas location is one of the highest-rated casino hotel complexes on the Vegas strip. They feature 2500 rooms and suites, seven restaurants, spa facilities, a barrage of interesting stores, and more than 86,000 square feet of casino space filled with some of the best gambling games anywhere. Their casino features more than 1200 slot machines ranging in denomination from one cent to $500. They also feature a 98% return on all slot machines.
For some time, Harrah's ran a “Play One Hundred Dollars On Us” promotion in which new club members could get a rebate of up to $100 on their slot machine losses during the first day. Sadly, while this was an excellent deal for visitors to the Vegas area, they are no longer running the promotion.
They are, however, still offering Harrah's reward cards. This customer loyalty program allows you to accumulate credits on your card, which can be used for discounts on food, special services like priority check-in, and discounts on special merchandise. The more slots you play, the more credits you earn. Unlike some establishments, though, they are not as of the time of writing offering any double points deals or cash back rewards programs.
The Stratosphere
The Stratosphere Las Vegas is centrally located, high above the Strip. They are near the convention center, and they offer their guests the standard range of amenities. They also feature one of the best selections of slot machines and video poker machines in town. They have the best odds on their slots, including a 100% return rate on video poker, which means you will at least break even (if you play long enough). Their rewards program offers free slot play as well as cash back and comp dollars for being a good member.
Casino MonteLago
The Casino MonteLago has a unique gaming atmosphere that is 100% coinless. They make use of the latest ticket in/ ticket out technology to prevent you from having to keep you with coinage. The cash back, though, expires within 48 hours, though the comp dollars never expire. They also offer two times the points from 11am to 2pm, and three times the points from 7am to 9am.
The Golden Nugget
The Golden Nugget hotel and casino, located in downtown Fremont Street, offers rooms from $59 and $10 in free slot machine play when you stay in their hotel. Their casino offers more than 1300 different varieties of slot machines. Joining their 24 karat club means an extra ten bucks on the slot machines for free, as well as cash back and discounts for points earned. They offer double points on Wednesdays and Fridays for Las Vegas local residents.
The Mirage
The Mirage casino and hotel is a fantastic Vegas experience. It was recently renovated and offers more than 2000 hotel rooms and a unique gaming environment. They offer hundreds of different slot machines, and several feature a potential multi-million dollar award. Their player's club provides access to all of their unique member facilities and the standard discounts and promotional offers. Throughout the month of November, they are running a double play option in which you can get cash back and double points on your membership card.
Terrible's
Terrible's hotel and casino offers most of the standard Vegas amenities including fancy rooms and great food. They also have close to 1000 popular slot machines available. Signing up for their card earns you an automatic entry into their $100,000 contest, and double cash back for points earned Sundays through Wednesdays. There is, though, a maximum of $250 in cash back on any given week. It is also possible to get five times the points on Sundays and Thursdays, but there are limitations with that promotion as well. Terribles’ is just two blocks off the Strip, which makes it a good place to go if you want to get away from the theme park atmosphere of the big casinos.
Signing up for a slot machine player's club at any of these or other great casinos in Las Vegas can have some very green, cash rich benefits for your Las Vegas vacation.
Something else you might consider, if you're not able to get to Vegas for a while, is trying the slot games at an online casino. You can play from your computer at home, and you don't have to worry about tipping waitresses, and best of all, you're not going to incur any travel costs. And since the online casinos have lower overhead than Vegas casinos, you might even see a better payout percentage.
